The Stirling and Oban on Google Maps.
Stirling, a strategic crossing point between the south and north of Scotland and a town with an important historical center that develops around the imposing medieval castle (15th-16th century) located on a hill overlooking the town. The castle walls enclose several buildings that a garrison museum, bar and restaurant. If Stirling is known for its castle and its medieval history, the town of Oban, on the central western coast of Scotland, is known for its distilleries where one of the oldest and most famous Scottish whiskies is produced. A tourist town with a fishing port, visits to the distillery and the particular building similar to the Roman Colosseum that is located on the hill overlooking the city. The journey between Sterling and Oban takes place in the typical Scottish landscape dominated by green meadows, thick woods, sheeps, small villages overlooking rivers and fjords that enter the territory from the sea.
