Glenbrook on Google Maps.
In a small town on the North Island of New Zealand every spring, in November, the Steam Festival takes place. During the festival the inhabitants, dressed in early twentieth century clothes, welcome visitors among stalls selling sweets and handicraft products while in the ancient Glenbrook station trains hauled by steam locomotives stop and take tourists to visit the countryside of the area. The old Bernie, a 1912 locomotive, transports wagons full of cheering children, puffing and whistling, while for the older ones in the station square you can see ancient steam tractors used in the region throughout the twentieth century.
