Gaafu Alifu is one of the southern atolls of the Maldives known to divers for its fantastic diving in the strong currents of the Maldivian Kandu (Pass). But this atoll is also famous for the special encounters that occur between divers and the underwater world. In a previous video I showed the encounter with the whale shark, in this video the unexpected encounter of a pair of nurse sharks "hugged" under the umbrella of a huge coral. A casual encounter with a dive in a few meters of water always surrounded by the currents of Gaafu. A journey to this distant Maldivian atoll that is worth doing for both divers and snorkellers.
