During the Christmas season at Obernai, the squares of the town are crowded with stalls creating wonderful Christmas Markets. These Christmas Markets are one of the major attractions of the year in many parts of Europe but in Alsace, thanks to the atmosphere created by the ancient city districts, become places that take you back in time. The stalls expose handicrafts, sweets, food products of the region, clothing and toys where children and adults look at the thousands of items on display. Inevitable not drink the hot spiced wine tasting typical of the place.
