Vancouver Island on Google Maps.
Chemainus is a small town on the southeastern coast of Vancouver Island. In this small town, thanks to a marked trail, you can learn about the history of the island thanks to dozens of murals. It starts from the first tribes of Indians settled on the islands of British Columbia up to the events of World War I, event that involved the young boys, miners and loggers who settled on the island in the mid-nineteenth century. An interesting journey into the history and culture of this island covered with thick forests, inhabited by bears and in the water, swim whales and orcas constantly looking for food.
