Les Deux Alpes on Google Maps.
Les Deux Alpes is a famous French ski resort, that thanks to the presence of one of the largest glaciers of France, offers the opportunity to ski even in summer. Apart the ski slopes, there is a chance to visit the glacier at the edge of a tracked vehicle to make a " White Cruise" at 3600 m height above sea level. In addition, for children but also for adults, some artists have created ice sculptures inside the glacier. A nice idea for those who want to spend some time inside the Mantel Glacier. Those who stay in the city, shops, bars and restaurants where eat typical dishes like Tartiflette, a hot dish consisting of mountain cheese, potatoes, salami and sausages.
