Grasse on Google Maps.
Grasse is a town on the hills behind Cannes situated on the French Riviera known since the 16th century for its workshops, which later became perfume industries, which produced fragrances and essences used at the time in all the European courts. The historic perfume industry, as you discover by visiting the Musée International de la Parfumerie in the city's historic center, is still a thriving industry today with the presence of important French perfume houses such as Fragonard, Molinard and Galimard, houses that can be visited on organized tours. The colorful buildings of the historic center with terraces overlooking restaurants where you can taste typical dishes and the narrow streets where the Provencal scents spread complete the visit of this particular village between the sea and the mountains on the hills of the French Riviera.
