An island at the southeastern end of the Cyclades archipelago. Far from mass tourism, quiet in its isolation but certainly among the most beautiful islands of the archipelago. Protected from the Meltemi by the high cliffs that characterize the southern coast, the northern coast is a continuous succession of bays and beaches, islets and rocks that make the island one of the most popular for seaside tourism in search quiet, walks and good food. Renting a scooter you can visit the island, the capital Hora with its windmills, the port of Aegiali with small restaurants overlooking the seafront and the incredible monastery of Hozoviotissa set like a white jewel in the dark rock of the southern cliff overlooking the sea.
