Menton on Google Maps.
Menton is a town almost on the border with Italy. Its historic center, located on the hill above the fortress that protects the ancient port, is a maze of alleys and streets that go up to the church of Saint Michel. The center of Menton is famous for its bright colors ranging from yellow to red, pastel colors that brighten the alleys and squares of the city. The beating heart is the large indoor market situated on the seafront near the gardens and near the museum dedicated to Jean Cocteau, a French poet and writer. Walking in the historic center is like taking a leap into the past between quiet atmospheres and no traffic noise. A nice relaxing holiday and good food for tourists who want to know and to leave suggestive experience in the bohemian atmosphere of French Riviera.
